Stephen King ‘Full Dark, No Stars’

Just finished reading this as part my daugther’s and I sponsored read for Surrey Young Carers. Glad to report that Stephen King is back to his best. All four stories are very dark and bleak in their nature, a fact acknowledged by the author in his customary afterword. One in particular, ‘1922’ you could see being made into a successful film like previous short stories like ‘Shawshank Redemption’.

Next up ‘Blood Dark’ by Stuart MacBride, always a treat – graphic and darkly comic in parts, crime thrillers set in and around Aberdeen.
