Other News
Becky has recently completed a run of shows with Ashley Hutchings and Ken Nicol to support the release of their new album Copper, Russet & Gold. Becky also appears as guest vocalist on the album. For more information, visit Ken’s homepage at www.kennicol.co.uk

Last month I appeared as special guest of award-winning duo Belinda O’Hooley & Heidi Tidow at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield. For information on their gorgeous album ‘Silent June’ (voted one of Mojo’s top ten Folk albums for 2010) see www.ohooleyandtidow.com.

I also recently recorded ‘Mallard’ by the great Michael Chapman as part of an album of his songs made to celebrate his seventieth birthday, also featuring, amongst others, Maddy Prior, Rick Kemp and Bridget St. John. I went to see Michael play last week, and it was a brilliant show. He is currently touring throughout the UK, and more information can be found at www.michaelchapman.co.uk

Rachel Goodwin & Becky put on a fantastic show last month at Knaresborough’s Frazer Theatre. It was the first time they had done a gig as a duo, and it was in aid of funds for the theatre renovation. Thanks to all who attended. Let’s hope they do another one soon…

Bex’s new album ‘Leeds Lullaby’ is well on the way to being finished. I have had a sneak preview of some of the new songs and they are better than ever! To keep up to date with her news, you can find her here on Facebook (she’s on my friends list!)

For information on how to book me (Patsy Matheson) for a show, also Michael Chapman, Steve Tilston & The Durbervilles and others, contact Graham Smout at GPS Music via his website www.gpsmusicartists.co.uk. We are currently booking for Spring 2012 to support the release of my new album, ‘Short Stories of Angels & Guitars’ early next year. I am playing everything on the album (!) apart from the drums, which are being played by Hugh Whittaker from the legendary Housemartins. Will let you know the release date as soon as I have it.

Anyway, that’s all for now.

We hope to catch you along the way.

Kind Regards
Pats, Bex, Jools & Rachel
