Europa League here we come!

Thanks to Man City beating Tottenham 1-0 tonight and gaining their Champions League spot,  Stoke City qualify for the qualifying rounds of next season’s Europa League. It will mean a very early and long season as fixtures normally start in early July.

Injury news and the chances of Robert Huth and Matthew Etherington making Saturday’s FA Cup final look slim. Time for They Call Him Mr Faye to step-up to the mark in defence as he did at the weekend.

  1. Great for Stoke to be in Europe next season. But would the extra games and midweek long travels threaten the team’s place in the League?

  2. Good point. We do need to expand our squad and get some better quality squad players in as our bench looks very weak when we get a few injuries. Pulis always puts Premier League survival first which is good in that he doesn’t gte distracted by chasing silverware.
