Shotton signs a four year extension to his current deal plus Huth & Whelan next?

Ryan Shotton has signed a four year extension to his current deal. Great to see a youngster coming up through the ranks, not an easy achievement in a Premier League team as teams need instant players to come in and do a job straight away – especially teams who need to reach that magic 40 point mark. We have a good academy set-up at Stoke and hopefully a few more will become first team regulars in the future. Even Pulis likes to play his ‘kiddies’ now and then.

Robert Huth and Glenn Whelan are also in talks about extending their respective contracts also by four years plus  Thomas Sorenson has been offered a new two year deal as his current contract expires next summer.
