Stoke City 1-2 West Brom

Poor display and the best team won on the day, sadly that wasn’t us. Woodgate again looked laboured at right back and no Palacios as according to Pulis it was ‘too windy’ and Delap was better for the ‘battle’ today. What a load of old cobblers! Still Wilson played well and Jerome scored again after coming on as a sub, well done that man.

Next Saturday’s Derby County FA Cup 4th round game has sold out for Stoke fans.

No real transfer movement although Ben Marshall must be considered an ‘out’ if he doesn’t sign a new contract. Hopefully he will stay as his displays with Sheff Wed last year won rave reviews. Fuller is another who may leave as his contract runs out in the summer but good to see we tuned down a loan move for him to Cardiff. Wigan’s Mohamed Diamhe could be an ‘in’ if rumours are to believed with a fee agreed and it is down to the player now.
