Stoke City 3-4 Swindon Town (Capital One Cup R2)

Oh dear…Stoke came back from 2-0 down at one stage with goals from Kenwyne Jones, Jon Walters and Peter Crouch, with two assists from new signing Geoff Cameron. Jamie Ness also made his debut but went off injured with a hamstring pull in extra time. Well done to Swindon Town though.

No sign of Palacios who is either off or playing for the under-21’s as one of the three over age players tomorrow.

We need some reinforcements and new ideas quickly otherwise this will be one long season…
