Stoke City 3-5 Liverpool

Coming back from two nil down to draw at half time it looked as though we could at least get a point. Two poor defensive errors cost us in the first half.

Second half Sterling went down under a gentle breeze for a dubious penalty. Surely not another decision going against us? A late effort by Walters had us back at 3-4 down but a draw was not to be.

We certainly played well and had things fallen for us we’d have a point. Charlie Adam was very impressive again, as was Crouch. Wilson was caught out for a goal and Jack Butland is looking assured just needs to stop a few errors.

Transfer wise Man City’s Guedetti looks set to sign on loan once Stephen Ireland signs on a free transfer.
